Track can benefit you... |
|

|
Data entry & Validation... quick & easy
To record an assessment,
the user selects a data type, and fills in a form. The data is
validated upon entry so that all assessments conform to locally
specified rules, and validation errors are clearly highlighted. |
 |
- Efficient - no need to search for pupil data as with
paper based systems.
- Flexible - define data types in line with your whole
school policies.
- Future proof-grows with your changing needs.
- Automatically generated data entry forms save staff
time
- Validation and rules facility prevents inconsistent
or incomplete reporting.
- Flexible data entry processes - data can be entered
directly or offline, using the export and import functions,
thus supporting flexible working arrangements.

Reporting & analysing... flexible & empowering
Progress reports for parents are quick and easy
to set up. Users select the information, time periods and year
groups for whom a report is applicable and print via a template
created in EXCEL. User-defined reports allow teachers to select
and filter information by pupil, set, year group, subject,
terms or data types. The OLAP interface allows more flexibility
- interchangeable rows and columns may contain any combination
of variables, such as sets, subjects, tutor groups, year groups,
reporting periods, data types and pupils. Data can be aggregated
to show the relative performance of selected individuals or
groups of pupils up to cohort level. |
 |
- Enhances report writing and communication with parents.
- Helps in setting class and individual targets.
- Ability to view and compare assessment history for each pupil.
- User-defined reports provide easy access to information.
- Powerful management tool for performance comparisons.
- Enables teachers to keep workbooks accurate and up to date.

Merit Award Scheme... recognising and rewarding
progress
Merit points can be given for a pupil or group's overall performance, attitude
etc.The system collates, summarises, and allocates points into gold, silver
and bronze user-defined bands, in preparation for printing Merit Certificates. |

|
- Teachers can recognise, record and reward both individual
and group progress.
- Details, totals and resulting awards can be printed
and displayed for the tutor group.

 |
Data Security... your rights to view
Access to the system is password controlled. Once logged in, layered
access rights determine each user's viewing and editing capability.
Default access rights are usually adequate but can be amended by
the system administrator where necessary. |
 |
- You control who in the school community can view and edit
data.
- Prevents unauthorised access to confidential information.
- Controls, such as not being able to change a pupil's
history, prevent data abuse.
|
